Old Kent Road Sauna is a safe space where everyone can feel welcome and be themselves.

• Please sit on a towel in the sauna.

• The sauna is a place of relaxation, peace and quiet.
  Please be considerate of other sauna users and talk quietly.

• Please shower before you plunge.

• Löyly (low-lu) is Finnish for steam in the sauna, it is produced by pouring water onto the sauna stones using the ladle. Always ask before pouring löyly, even if one person disagrees, do not pour löyly.

• Sauna time is limited to 1 hour, however if it is quiet you are welcome to stay longer. The staff will advise you.

• Sauna is a phone free area - switch your phone to silent mode and leave it in your locker. There is a lock box for valuables.

• Keep hydrated, we offer free filtered and sparkling water.

• If your sauna peace is disturbed, please tell us.
